Coates assisted with this Harvest Moon Vision Quest at Owen Putnam State Forest, facilitated by Dane McCullough of Sacred Acres Retreats. It was beautiful weather, and was an amazingly interesting complement to the opening of deer hunting season. The Vision Quest is a very traditional Native American Indian ceremony that includes a month of preparation for the participants, and can result in some life-changing life-visions.
