Areas with Permanent Orienteering Courses
Morgan Monroe State Forest Map Packet: 1:24,000 scale. A portion (on 8" X 10" paper) of the USGS Hindustan quad map is provided with the 16 checkpoints already marked on the map. A blank map (for practicing plotting of UTM coordinates), the UTM coordinates of all 16 checkpoints, a cluesheet, and directions to starting area are also included. It is good practice for adventure races or preparing for hiking in national or state forests in other states.

Hoosier National Forest at Story, IN, a 1:24,000 scale map. 1:24,000 scale. A portion (on 8" X 10" paper) of the USGS Story quad map is provided with the 25 checkpoints already marked on the map. A blank map (for practicing plotting of UTM coordinates), the UTM coordinates of all 25 checkpoints, a cluesheet, and directions to starting area are also included. A 1:15,000 Orienteering Map is also available with the 25 checkpoints plotted, as well as a UTM Slot-Tool for plotting UTM coordinates.
